They celebrate chamber music and friendship: the captivating Bulgarian violinist Liya Petrova and the virtuoso French pianist Alexandre Kantorow enjoy special chamber music treats in the company of their highly talented friends.
It is the diversity of the works and ensembles that makes this evening so appealing. Whether solo performances, duos, trios or sextets – all participants share a love of chamber music. Bartók's unique violin duos, César Franck's groundbreaking early piano trio and Tchaikovsky's enchanting sextet ‘Souvenir de Florence’ become the stuff that dreams are made of.
