Veronika Eberle | Luxembourg Philharmonic | Martin Rajna

The Luxembourg Philharmonic, under its new principal conductor Martin Rajna, will perform Bartók’s Violin Concerto along with symphonic works by György Kurtág and Gustav Mahler. Incidentally, Rajna has something in common with Mahler: like Mahler in his day, he became principal conductor of the Budapest State Opera in his late twenties. His performances there have drawn attention and enthusiasm. In recent years, Martin Rajna has emerged as one of the most outstanding young conductors.
