Rising Stars: Amelio Trio

Dynamic, expressive, curious: the three musicians came together as a trio when they were still teenagers, and now they are thrilling audiences as Rising Stars in Europe's largest concert halls.

With a fresh perspective and a desire for new program concepts, the Amelio Trio feels just as at home in the traditional repertoire as it does in new music: sometimes classical with Haydn and Beethoven, sometimes romantic with Schumann, or in tune with the times with new works by Helena Winkelman or Birke Bertelsmeier. One critic raved about a »picture-perfect debut CD« in the fall of 2025, while the Süddeutsche Zeitung praised the trio's »electrifying interpretation« in concert. Ideal ingredients, then, for an exciting afternoon of chamber music.

Rising Stars is a project of the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO). The Amelio Trio was nominated by Kölner Philharmonie (KölnMusik), Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Barbican Centre, and Philharmonie Luxembourg.
