The former Gürzenich Kapellmeister remains true to this credo as principal conductor of the SWR Symphonieorchester. He is now devoting himself to two of his absolute favourites of modern music: Richard Strauss and Philippe Manoury. He presents a new, immensely sensual and sophisticated violin piece by Philippe Manoury, which finds its master in the versatile Isabelle Faust.
