Piano artistry with a compass: Fabian Müller blends Bach, Beethoven and his own compositions
Fabian Müller inspires a wide audience with his natural vitality. His rise to the top of the world's pianists is as spectacular as his energy at the instrument.
When you are born in Bonn and feel called to be a pianist, it is easy to find your musical compass: Ludwig van Beethoven. But Fabian Müller wants more: he composes, conducts, and teaches. How does he manage to juggle everything? “I'm from the Rhineland, and as such I'm very easygoing, with a relaxed attitude to life. Nevertheless, I feel the need to make good music.” Müller cements this claim with a versatile recital that combines a Bach chorale with heavyweights of Romanticism and begins with his own compass: Beethoven.
