From the Metropolitan Opera's young artists program to the ensemble of the Bavarian State Opera: Erika Baikoff has also proven that she has long been a star on the song stage, winning first prize at the Helmut Deutsch Song Competition.

With her debut at the Cologne Philharmonic Hall, the Russian-American soprano also demonstrates her preference for sophisticated programs that are as multifaceted as her lyrical and youthfully radiant soprano voice. The recital tour ranges from the Romantic composer Schumann and the two composing piano virtuosos Rachmaninoff and Medtner, who also skillfully showcase their instrument in their songs, to the songs of Aaron Copland.
