Workshop: B - tz - k - tike -tike - b - k - tz!

Beatboxing involves imitating rhythms and percussion sounds with the mouth, nose, and throat. Creating sounds and rhythms with the voice is the focus of this workshop with instructor Philipp aus dem Siepen. Step by step, we will learn different vocal percussion sounds and combine them to create cool sounds. 

Philipp aus dem Siepen works as a beatboxer for shows such as »Urbanatix«, the a cappella group »Scampi« and the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne, among others. He is also active in an educational context, for example for the Offene Jazz Haus Schule (Open Jazz House School) in various workshops in the open all-day program, such as the »Lauschexpeditionen« (Listening Expeditions) project at the Manderscheider Platz elementary school.
