Präsentation eResponse »Mars and Moon«

Friedrich-Wilhelm-Gymnasium | Genoveva-Gymnasium | Kaiserin-Theophanu-Schule | Thomas Taxus Beck | Marco Mlynek | Sophie Emilie Beha
In the eResponse project, students from secondary schools in Cologne compose their own pieces of music for locations of their choice around the Kölner Philharmonie. The starting point and reference work for their creative work is the piece »The Sheer Task of Being Alive« by Irish composer Jennifer Walshe, which deals with the physical and mental limbo of astronauts in space. Some of the compositions can be experienced live on stage at the Filmforum on the family festival day, while others can be heard in a sound walk around the Philharmonie.
The family festival is sponsored by Sparkasse KölnBonn.
