The exceptional young Spanish cellist Pablo Ferrández quickly attracted international attention and won numerous prizes. Schumann's Cello Concerto gives him the opportunity to reveal his musical sensitivity, supported by the first-class Ensemble Resonanz.

‘Pablo Ferrández is truly something special ... wonderful tone, very refined vibrato, flawless left and right hands, and a true musician,’ said his mentor Anne-Sophie Mutter about the young Spaniard. He has a musical friendship with the Ensemble Resonanz, which will perform Beethoven's Fifth in the second half of the concert – with all the drama and humanity it contains.
