London Philharmonic Orchestra

Raffiniert und hochromantisch
Camille Saint-Saëns' First Cello Concerto is one of the true showpieces of the cello repertoire – brilliant, virtuosic and full of sophisticated melodic lines that allow the instrument to shine even in its lower registers. The London Philharmonic Orchestra frames this highly romantic work with two further opulent masterpieces: Elgar’s Italianate concert overture »In the South« and Rachmaninov’s intoxicating Third Symphony.
