The state youth ensemble SPLASH - Percussion NRW presents the full range of what percussion ensembles can currently offer: With »Catching Shadows« by Ivan Trevino, a mallet duo transports the audience into a melodious meditation, while »Okho« by Iannis Xenakis shows how energetic and interlocked percussion can sound. The youth ensemble interprets works between new and improvised music. The audience can look forward to a wide range of sounds from the newest ensemble of the Verein zur Förderung von Landesjugendensembles NRW e. V. (Association for the Promotion of NRW Youth Ensembles).
