Percussion ensemble of the Gürzenich-Orchester Köln: Eight hands, one beat!

Schlagzeug-Ensemble des Gürzenich-Orchester Köln: Fleckenstein | Menke | Offenbach | Schmitt
Family concert with the percussion ensemble of the Gürzenich-Orchester Köln - listen, be amazed, join in for Cologne and the whole family
What does Cologne sound like? Peter, Uwe, Lukas and Alex - four percussionists from the Gürzenich-Orchester Köln - invite you on a sonorous journey through their exciting world of instruments and bring Cologne's favorite places to life in the Philharmonie.
Dancing with the »Can Can« across Offenbachplatz, they head to the Rhine in the rhythmically beating engine room of a ship and on to a cozy brewery: with hands, feet and all kinds of everyday objects, the percussionists make the table and the surroundings resound. The four show that Cologne and its music are international with »Ghanaia« - a tribute to the rhythms of Ghana for marimba and percussion trio. And at the latest when »et Trömmelche jeit«, everyone is invited to sing along!
