Jonas Müller | Gerold Huber

Baritone Jonas Müller is a multi-award-winning young rising star in the world of singing, Gerold Huber an old hand as a song accompanist; both are distinguished by their enormous technical competence. Together they move between Baroque and Romanticism, between the spiritual worlds of Bach and Schubert.

In December 2024, Jonas Müller sang in Bach's Weihnachtsoratorium (Christmas Oratorio) at the Kölner Philharmonie. Now he returns as a song interpreter – and once again with Bach in his repertoire: he combines Bach's sacred songs with secular songs by Schubert. The experienced pianist and song accompanist Gerold Huber is his faithful companion. At the end of their recital, the two arrive at Frank Martin's »Six Monologues from ‚Jedermann‘«, an exciting psychogram that culminates in the hope of salvation through love.
