At first glance, the connection seems rather questionable: what does noble jazz have to do with techno? With Jazzrausch, it makes perfect sense, as the 15 young ladies and gentlemen from Munich succeed in combining the relentless beat of techno with intricate brass sections to create a compelling mélange. Big band jazz in a completely new guise – far removed from elitist jazz attitudes, in the rich groove of the big city. The concert's motto alone, ‘Euphoria’, speaks volumes.
