Rejoice, exult – Bach's Christmas Oratorio freshly and newly told, accompanied by Bach's unique music. You will hear the most beautiful choruses and arias, condensed into about an hour. Costumes and props ensure a lively staging that appeals equally to young and old. 

As narrator, Josef guides you through the events, directly addressing the audience and opening the space for the Christmas story – mysterious and moving, yet also with subtle humor. Two young, playful ensembles and outstanding soloists shed new light on Bach's work from a fresh perspective. In this way, the Christmas Oratorio becomes an intense experience – accompanied by the music we love.
