Håkan Hardenberger has inspired numerous composers to write new works for the trumpet. Håkan Hardenberger is undoubtedly a musical godsend and is now returning to the Kölner Philharmonie with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and Daniel Harding.

For more than four decades, he has been one of the world's most sought-after soloists and has long been a kind of ambassador for his instrument. Throughout his career, Håkan Hardenberger has continually explored the limits of the trumpet and demonstrated his uniqueness with breathtaking virtuosity. Together with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and conductor Daniel Harding, he will present works by Joseph Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven and Johann Nepomuk Hummel.
