Community-Chorkonzert

The Cologne Philharmonic’s Community Choir Project is now in its third year, and at the closing concert, nine Cologne choirs will invite the entire audience to sing along!
The concert programme centres on the theme of connection – as a vibrant sense of togetherness and the creation of musical relationships. The element of water also plays an inspiring role: as a symbol of flow, movement, interconnectedness and harmony. The result is a programme that brings connections to life through sound – between choirs, cultures and individual voices.
Choirs from Cologne representing different cultures are taking part; they have been preparing for the concert in pairs since the summer. The entire auditorium becomes a stage when they perform their songs together with Hayat Chaoui and her ensemble – an invitation to experience the musical diversity of different cultures together and to discover your own voice.
No previous singing experience is necessary to join in.
