Beethoven, pure

Beethoven
“When a great piece of music touches the heart, you have won over a person, and it becomes a great treasure for them. We can give people beauty,” says Elena Bashkirova – pianist, chamber musician and passionate director of various chamber music festivals.
Her approach, which stands for empathetic musical collaboration, seems tailor-made for Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3, considered a milestone in the development of the genre. The link to the popular Symphony No. 5 is the key of C minor, which Beethoven often used when seeking to create an atmosphere as stormy as it is fateful. Much like in his ‘Prometheus’, who, with the flame of heaven, can not only bring statues to life, but also endow them with emotion as well as a sense of art and nature.
