Kölner Philharmonie

The sound world of César Franck and Sergej Rachmaninow
He is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after conductors of our decade: Klaus Mäkelä. He will soon take up the top positions with the orchestras of Amsterdam and Chicago. Now he is making a guest appearance in Cologne with the Orchestre de Paris and soloist Anna Vinnitskaya.
From an early age, from his first attempts in his living room at home, Klaus Mäkelä has done everything in his power to become a conductor. With the Orchestre de Paris, he presents César Franck's only symphony and music by Sergej Rachmaninow. Rachmaninow's Second Piano Concerto is played by Anna Vinnitskaya, one of the great piano rhapsodists of our time.
