Ticket Sales

For booking tickets several options are open to you. On the internet you may conveniently select the desired concert and click on online booking. You are able to book the tickets using the hall seating chart through the whole delivery period, i.e. 7 days before the concert. After that you can use the best-seat-book-option until two hours before the concert. The tickets are to be picked up at the box office. If you wish individual and personal advice you can turn to our booking offices or simply call our hotline at +49 221 280 280.

The box office opens 90 minutes before the beginning of the event.

  • Prices

    For information on ticket prices, please refer to the detailed description of each concert. The hall seating plan will also provide you with detailed information on seating arrangements in the various price groups.

  • Payment

    Tickets can be paid for by credit card, direct debit (only on the phone) with an EC card or simply in cash (only at advance booking offices). Currently the prices of tickets for concerts purchased from advance booking offices carry a ca. 10% service charge. If you have ordered your tickets via the phone or via the Internet an additional flat-rate processing and mailing charge will be levied on each item sent. Gift vouchers for the concerts in the Kölner Philharmonie can also be purchased from the advance booking offices

  • Advance ticket sales

    Advance ticket sales for events organized by KölnMusik usually begins four months in advance at 10 a.m. Please note the deadlines stated in our publications. All prices are subject to advance booking and service fees.

  • Gift vouchers

    You can purchase gift vouchers online, calling our contact center +49 221 280 280 and at our box offices at the Roncalliplatz and at the Mayersche Bookstore in the Neumarkt-Galerie.

  • Discount

    A 25% discount on admission tickets for events organized by KölnMusik is granted to students (up to 28 years), trainees/apprentices, the disabled and holders of a Mobility Pass (Köln-Pass). The person accompanying a handicapped visitor (»Merkzeichen B«) receives a 50% discount (further information about the accessibility). Please note that only one discount per ticket can be granted. Verification of discount entitlement must be presented on purchase of the tickets and on admission to the concert hall.

  • Admission ticket = travel ticket

    Your admission ticket also serves as your travel ticket to the Philharmonie and back: It is valid on all buses, trams and trains operating within the Rhein-Sieg regional transport network four hours before and four hours after the concert. After attending the event, the ticket is not transferable to another person, not even as a ticket on the transport network.

  • Standing tickets

    For sold out events organised by KölnMusik, we offer up to 100 standing tickets at the box office 90 minutes prior to the event. The price is 18 euros. Students (28 years or under), trainees/apprentices, the disabled and holders of a Mobility Pass (Köln-Pass) can purchase standing tickets for 10 euros. If tickets of the price group I exceed 92 euros, the price of a standing ticket rises to 25 euros. Please be aware that one person can only purchase 2 tickets at a time and that reservation is not an option.

  • Recordings

    Some concerts in the Kölner Philharmonie will be recorded for television or photographed by media representatives. By purchasing a ticket, visitors agree to declare that their image may be broadcasted on television or in other media or appears in photographs in media publications. Taking picture and sound recordings are not permitted due to copyright reasons.
