Getting to the Kölner Philharmonie during the CSD weekend (3–5 July 2026)

From Friday to Sunday, Christopher Street Day will be celebrated around Cologne’s Old Town under the slogan »For Queer Rights – Many. Together. Strong!«. From 6.00 am on Thursday 2 July until 5.00 am on Monday 6 July, there will be road closures and diverted traffic routes in the city centre.

Our tip: It’s best to come by bus or train, or make use of Park & Ride facilities. Experience shows that the city centre car parks fill up quickly, particularly on Saturday evening and Sunday.

Access to the Philharmonie car park remains possible via Rheinuferstraße, Trankgasse and the Gulliver Tunnel. The Am Dom car park also remains accessible. However, in the event of very heavy traffic, additional road closures may be introduced at short notice.

The Kölner Philharmonie and our box office are always within walking distance. The CSD street festival is open to the public and concert-goers are generally welcome to walk through it. If you wish to bypass the festival grounds, please use the path running directly along the banks of the Rhine.

The main CSD parade will take place on Sunday 5 July. Significant traffic restrictions are to be expected along the parade route. The Deutzer Bridge, in the direction of the city centre, will be closed to motor traffic from 5.00 am on Friday 3 July until 5.00 am on Monday 6 July.

We look forward to your visit – and wish everyone a wonderful, colourful and respectful CSD weekend in Cologne.
