Voices & Beats – Vocal Journey x WDR Funkhausorchester

A pop song wants to escape from your headphones – it wants space, body, resonance. At »Voices & Beats«, pop music becomes a communal experience: Vocal Journey, the pop choir of he Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, meets the WDR Funkhausorchester and brings well-known songs to the stage in brand new arrangements. Songs such as »Human Heart«, »Bad Liar« and »Never Gonna Not Dance Again« unfold their full power with the choir, band and orchestra. These are complemented by current German-language songs and touching a cappella moments.
