Singen mit Klasse!

The boy has been in this new country for a few days now, where everything is completely different from home. The whole family has come with him and they are now living together in a single room: Mummy and Daddy and the baby; only King, the boy's beloved dog, is not there. Not yet, because »King kommt noch,« (King is coming) says Mummy, and so the boy passes the time waiting by taking a close look at his new surroundings. He shares all the strange things he discovers with King via his wind telephone. Why, for example, do people here put dog poo in bags? Why can't he and his parents read anything in the new country? And who is the woman from the yoga yoghurt shop or the woman with the blue light? It's all very strange.

»King kommt noch« is a musical story about arriving in a foreign country. Over a period of two months, 300 Year 2 pupils work on the piece »King kommt noch« (2018) under the guidance of singing teachers, which is then performed together with the Gürzenich-Orchester Köln in two concerts at the end of the project.
