Brahms | Schumann

A unique artistic friendship united Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms. Schumann’s Piano Concerto, a prototype of the Romantic concerto, enters into a compelling dialogue with Brahms’s First Symphony – the work famously hailed by Hans von Bülow as »Beethoven’s Tenth«.

The Cologne-based pianist Olga Scheps is regarded as a distinguished interpreter of the Romantic repertoire. She performs together with the Swiss Orchestra, an ensemble founded in 2019 and comprising around 50 outstanding professional musicians from the younger generation in Switzerland.
