Christmas with a Cuban twist. The Sarahbanda is an ensemble founded by Sarah Willis that can really get you in the Christmas mood as the band infuses that familiar Christmas atmosphere with a fiery Caribbean spirit. 

There is a twinkle in her eye when Sarah tells us how she officially went to Cuba for a masterclass in her capacity as a horn player with the Berliner Philharmoniker, but really wanted to dance salsa. She instantly fell in love with Cuba, the people, their haunting charm and their passion for life. As one may expect, she was also totally captivated by the music on this colourful Caribbean island. She is now back in Germany and celebrating Christmas with her favourite Cubans. Son, salsa, mambo and bolero shine through as they play European Christmas classics in an irresistible fusion of festivity and fire. Or as Sarah Willis puts it, »Cuban Christmas brings you the magical music we all love at this time of year in a celebration of culture and connectivity«.
