Mnozil Brass

Mnozil Brass
For more than thirty years, the seven Kapazunder have been swerving back and forth between Johann Strauss and Frank Sinatra, between Schostakowitsch and Prince, or even passionately from Schubert to their kindred spirits in Queen, with the utmost naturalness and their sparkling wind instruments. But Strauss – who was ardently admired by Brahms, Wagner and Verdi as well as by craftsmen and girls from the suburbs (and even Gershwin) – was the forefather of nonchalant flirting between two stools. Strauss was the first to produce hits by the metre. He hired an arranger so he could work faster and realised that, together with his brothers, he could reproduce his sound worldwide. He was the first to undermine E and U and become a mass phenomenon as the Waltz King – the cash registers never rang sweeter.
