Louis Philippson

A dazzling fusion of classical and pop: virtuoso piano playing meets thrilling genre-crossing sounds
Louis Philippson is Germany’s biggest pop star at the piano. With his ever-growing fanbase, the 23-year-old has carved out a niche all of his own, bridging the gap between concert halls, social media and pop culture.
In a very short space of time, Louis Philippson has become a celebrated classical star, presenter and social media phenomenon. Numerous national and international piano competitions, along with his activity on TikTok and Instagram, laid the foundations for the meteoric rise of the former student at the Robert Schumann University of Music in Düsseldorf. In 2024, he performed at the ‘Night of the Proms’ in front of an audience of around 200,000. In 2025, the OPUS KLASSIK winner released two albums in quick succession: ‘Exposition’ and ‘My Way’. In 2027, he returns to the stage with his new album ‘Masquerade’. Classical masterpieces, his own compositions, dance and pop music come together to create a rich sonic journey through eras and genres. Bold and unconventional, Louis Philippson breaks down genre boundaries and – supported by an excellent ensemble – brings together Bach, Mozart, Chopin and Strauss with Duke Ellington, Michael Jackson and Queen.
