Three choirs – two cities – one work

In cooperation with two other choirs, the Konzertchor Köln is fulfilling a dream that many choirs dream of, but which they are rarely able to realize in its original form due to the manpower required: Verdi's Requiem.

Verdi's Requiem: This powerful and emotionally intense work is rarely performed in its original version because it requires a large choir and orchestra. In a unique collaboration with the choir and symphony orchestra of Goethe University Frankfurt, the Frankfurt Singakademie, and an acclaimed quartet of soloists, the Konzertchor is now dedicating itself to Verdi's mammoth work.
