KonSequenzen: Milica Djordjević

Born in Belgrade in 1984, Milica Djordjević has lived in Berlin since completing her studies, and there has established herself as one of the leading voices in contemporary music. During her youth, she briefly imagined a career as a physicist. Her interest in natural sciences led to a profound understanding of the nature of acoustic waves, paired with an experimental curiosity that drives her works to explore the microcosm of sound ranges. For ACHT BRÜCKEN, she gives clarinet, trumpet and percussion each ten minutes of extensive soloistic treatment.
