With over a million followers on Instagram and sold-out venues as far as the eye can see, Anna Lapwood is winning over audiences with her instrument – the organ. How does she do it? 

“I simply try to share my own enthusiasm for the instrument and the music I play,” explains the young Briton, who is taking the hearts of music lovers by storm all over the world. She has already caused a sensation in Cologne too: in the summer of 2025, thousands of people queued up for her concert in the cathedral – and even a spontaneously organised second concert could not meet the huge demand. In this concert, she will perform with a full orchestra here for the first time, and then it’s full steam ahead – from classical to film music, from solo pieces to Camille Saint-Saëns’s magnificent Organ Symphony!
