With over a million followers on Instagram and sold-out concerts wherever she goes, Anna Lapwood has successfully inspired all kinds of people to take an interest in organ music. So how does she manage to take the world by storm and capture the hearts of so many music-lovers? From her point of view, it’s easy. 

»All I do is try to share my own love of the organ and its music«, she explains. In Cologne, she already caused a sensation last summer when thousands of fans queued up for her concert in the cathedral. A second spontaneously scheduled recital was also sold out, leaving many admirers still without tickets. The Kölner Philharmonie is very much looking forward to welcoming her to the console in September when she will be pulling out all the stops in an exciting concert of classical solo works and film music, culminating in a performance of the magnificent organ symphony by Camille Saint-Saëns.
