During the guest performance of the Kammerorchester Basel, Beatles songs arranged for concert saxpphone will be performed alongside Bach and Vivaldi. Dutch recorder player and composer Erik Bosgraaf also bridges the gap between old and new music when he conducts Concerto Köln, harmonising his own compositions for baroque orchestra with Telemann, Händel and Vivaldi. Accompanied by the Amsterdam Concertgebouw Kamerorkest, the incomparable Elisabeth Leonskaja will then grace the Cologne audience with a piano concerto by Mozart.
