The Austrian Early-Music specialist Christina Pluhar regularly brings a breath of fresh air to the movement of historically informed performance when she takes us on her musical adventure journeys, where baroque music meets folk and jazz. Her latest coup is entitled Handel goes wild and is guaranteed to provide high-calibre baroque entertainment! With her ensemble L’Arpeggiata as well as splendid guests such as the Italian jazz clarinettist Gianluigi Trovesi, soprano Celine Scheen and countertenor Valer Sabadus, Pluhar improvises on hand-picked opera and oratorio arias by Handel.
